Relics of Haihun Principality of Han Dynasty in Nanchang

It is situated at the northeast of Xinjian District, with Poyang Lake in the north and Ganjiang River in the east. It is 20km to Nanchang Changbei International Airport and about 45km to downtown Nanchang. The historic site consists of a series of important remains, taking the site of the Forbidden City with an area of 3.6 square kilometers, cemetery of Haihun Duke for generations and burial area for the noble and the civilian in the Han Dynasty as core. It is the largest marquis settlement historic site in the Han Dynasty with the largest area, the best preservation and the most connotations found in our country up till now. It provides comprehensive historical materials for the research of establishment system, humanistic history and social economy of the countries in the western Han dynasty, and it is the most unique large site for the research of the history of the countries in the western Han dynasty.
