Nanchang Bayi Uprising Memorial Hall

Nanchang Bayi Uprising Memorial Hall was established in 1956, officially opened to the public in 1959, published to be the first batch of key historic preservation units by the State Council in 1961. It is located at No.380 Zhongshan Road, Nanchang City, is a national 4A-level scenic area, and was selected into National Directory of Scenic Areas for Revolutionary Tourism. Nanchang Bayi Uprising Memorial Hall has been opened to the public for free since 2008. As “the first hall of military history of China” publicizing and demonstrating the birth, development and strengthening of people’s army, it has attracted much attention since the opening, and a lot of proletarian revolutionists and leaders of the Party and the country went there for visiting and guidance.
