It was learned by the reporter from Department of Transportation of Jiangxi Province yesterday that the feasibility report for the section from Nanfeng (Jiangxi-Fujian Boundary) to Nanchang of G1535 Chaozhou-Nanchang National Expressway passed industrial preliminary review.

The formulation unit made report in terms of project overview, construction necessity, technical standard and construction plan at the review meeting. The expert group considered that the report’s overall formulation principles are correct, the project’s construction scale, technical standard route direction and principal control point are basically appropriate, and the construction plan is basically reasonable.

Chaozhou-Nanchang Expressway starts from Chaozhou, goes through Meizhou, Longyan, Sanming and Fuzhou, and ends in Nanchang, with a total planned length of about 750km, and the sections in Guangdong, Fujian and Jiangxi measure lengths of 256km, 271km and 223km respectively.

The Chaozhou-Nanchang Expressway is planned to be commenced at the end of January 2025, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of December 2027, adopting two-way four-lane expressway standard, with roadbed width of 26 meters, and design speed of 100km/h.
